How Janma uses your browser storage, how advertising cookies may be used, and what hosting logs are kept.

Summary: Janma has no accounts and does not send your birth details, saved profiles or personal events to any server of its own. Calculations run in your browser.
To remember your choices between visits, Janma stores small values in your browser localStorage: the selected city, display settings (time format, Amanta or Purnimanta, theme, language, arithmetic and ayanamsha options), saved birth profiles and kundali inputs you choose to keep, the events you add on the Month Panchang page, and whether you hid ads.
Pages may show advertising slots. If an advertising partner such as Google is enabled, that partner and its vendors may set or read cookies or similar identifiers to show ads, limit repeats, measure performance and, where allowed, personalise ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type and time of request for security and reliability. Janma does not use these logs to identify you.
Add to Google Calendar links open Google with the event filled in; nothing is saved until you confirm it there. ICS files are created on your device.
Janma is a general reference site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
